Threatened Species Protection Order (No. 2) 2000

I make the following order under section 13(5) of the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the Threatened Species Protection Order (No. 2) 2000 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

3.   Principal Act

In this order, the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 is referred to as the Principal Act.

4.    Schedule 4 amended (Taxa of Flora and Fauna which are vulnerable)

Schedule 4 to the Principal Act is amended by omitting

Anoglypta launcestonensis Reeve

Northeast Forest Snail

.

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

Notified in the Gazette on 21 June 2000

This order is administered in the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 by omitting Anoglypta launcestonensis Reeve (Northeast Forest Snail) from Schedule 4 to that Act.
