Tourism Tasmania Order 2002
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 52(1)(b) of the Tourism Tasmania Act 1996 .

This order may be cited as the Tourism Tasmania Order 2002 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
In this order, the Tourism Tasmania Act 1996 is referred to as the Principal Act.
Each of the provisions of the Principal Act specified in Column 1 of Schedule 1 is amended by omitting "Tourism Council of Australia (Tasmania Branch)" on the number of occurrences specified in Column 2 of that Schedule and substituting "Tourism Council Tasmania Limited".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the order)
This order amends the Tourism Tasmania Act 1996 by replacing references to the Tourism Council of Australia (Tasmania Branch), which has ceased to exist, with references to the Tourism Council Tasmania Limited which is a body the Governor is satisfied now represents the interests of the Tasmanian tourism industry.
