Proclamation under the Building Act 2000

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 2 of the Building Act 2000 fix 3 September 2003 as the day on which the following provisions of that Act commence:

(a) sections 1 , 2 , 3 , 25 , 26 , 27 , 28 , 29 , 48 , 49 , 219 , 220 , 221 , 222 , 223 , 225 , 226 , 227 , 228 , 229 , 230 , 234 , 235 , 239 , 240 , 241 , 261 , 265 , 269 and 279 ;
(b) sections 11(1) and (2) ;
(c) sections 251(1) and (4) ;
(d) section 278(3) ;
(e) Divisions 1 and 2 of Part 2 ;
(f) Divisions 1 and 6 of Part 4 ;
(g) Division 1 of Part 12 ;
(h) Schedules 1 and 2 .
