Trustee Amendment (Investment Powers) Act 1997

An Act to amend the Trustee Act 1898

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1.   Short title

This Act may be cited as the Trustee Amendment (Investment Powers) Act 1997 .

2.   Commencement

This Act commences on a day or days to be proclaimed.

3.   Principal Act

In this Act, the Trustee Act 1898 is referred to as the Principal Act.

4.   

The amendment effected by this section has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Trustee Act 1898 .

5.   

The amendments effected by this section has been incorporated into authorised versions of the following Acts:

(a) Trustee (Insured Housing Loans) Act 1970 ;

(b) Trustee Act 1898 .

6.   

The amendments effected by this section has been incorporated into authorised versions of the following Acts and Statutory Rules:

(a) Trustee Act 1898 ;

(b) Companies (Application of Laws - Trustee Companies Common Funds) Regulations 1983 .
