Search Warrants (Consequential Amendments) Act 1997

An Act to amend certain Acts consequential on the enactment of the Search Warrants Act 1997

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1.   Short title

This Act may be cited as the Search Warrants (Consequential Amendments) Act 1997 .

2.   Commencement

This Act commences on the day on which the Search Warrants Act 1997 commences.

SCHEDULE 1 - Consequential amendments

The amendments effected by Section 3 and this Schedule have been incorporated into authorised versions of the following Acts:

(a) Classification (Publications, Films and Computer Games) Enforcement Act 1995 ;

(b) Dental Act 1982 ;

(c) Firearms Act 1996 ;

(d) Poisons Act 1971 ;

(e) Police Offences Act 1935 ;

(f) Search Warrants Act 1997 .
