Corporations (Consequential Amendments) Act 2001

An Act to amend certain Acts and statutory rules consequential on the enactment by the Parliament of the Commonwealth of new Corporations legislation and new ASIC legislation and for other purposes

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1.   Short title

This Act may be cited as the Corporations (Consequential Amendments) Act 2001 .

2.   Commencement

This Act commences on the commencement of the Corporations Act 2001 of the Commonwealth.

SCHEDULE 1 - Consequential Amendments

The amendments effected by Section 3 and this Schedule have been incorporated into the authorised version of the appropriate Acts.

(b) Auctioneers and Real Estate Agents Regulations 1992 ;

(d) Commercial and Inquiry Agents Regulations 1975 ;

(e) Cooperatives Regulations 2000 ;

(f) Fair Trading (Code of Practice for Retail Tenancies) Regulations 1998 ;

(g) Magistrates Court (Civil Division) Rules 1998 ;

(h) Racing and Gaming Regulations 1976 ;

(i) Retirement Benefits Regulations 1994 ;

(j) Rules of Practice Rules 1994 ;

(k) Travel Agents Regulations 1988 .
