Forestry Rights Registration Amendment Act 2002

An Act to amend the Forestry Rights Registration Act 1990 and the Forestry Act 1920 to provide for the creation of carbon rights

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1.   Short title

This Act may be cited as the Forestry Rights Registration Amendment Act 2002 .

2.   Commencement

This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.

3.   Principal Act

In this Act, the Forestry Rights Registration Act 1990 is referred to as the Principal Act.

4.   

The amendment effected by this section has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Forestry Rights Registration Act 1990 .

The amendment effected by this section has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Forestry Rights Registration Act 1990 .

6.   

The amendments effected by this section has been incorporated into authorised versions of the following Acts:

(a) Forestry Act 1920 ;

(b) Forestry Rights Registration Act 1990 .
