Misuse of Drugs (Consequential Amendments) Act 2001

An Act to amend the Poisons Act 1971 and certain other Acts consequent on the enactment of the Misuse of Drugs Act 2001

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1.   Short title

This Act may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs (Consequential Amendments) Act 2001 .

2.   Commencement

This Act commences on the day on which the Misuse of Drugs Act 2001 commences.

SCHEDULE 1 - Consequential Amendments to Poisons Act 1971

The amendments effected by Section 3 and this Schedule have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Poisons Act 1971 .

The amendments effected by Section 4 and this Schedule have been incorporated into the authorised version of the appropriate Acts.
