Water Legislation Amendment Act 2004

An Act to amend the Water Management Act 1999 , the Irrigation Clauses Act 1973 and the Rivers and Water Supply Commission Act 1999

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

PART 1 - Preliminary

1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the Water Legislation Amendment Act 2004 .

2. Commencement

(1) This Act, except as provided in subsection (2), commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.

(2) Parts 3 , 5 and 6 commence on a day or days to be proclaimed.

PART 2 - Water Management Act 1999 Amended
