Personal Information Protection Amendment Act 2005
An Act to amend the Personal Information Protection Act 2004
[Royal Assent 15 September 2005]
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Personal Information Protection Amendment Act 2005 .
(1) This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.(2) However, if this Act does not receive the Royal Assent before the day on which the Principal Act commences, this Act is taken to have commenced, immediately after the Principal Act, on that day.
In this Act, the Personal Information Protection Act 2004 is referred to as the Principal Act.
The amendments effected by this section have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Personal Information Protection Act 2004 .
