Public Health Amendment Act 2007
An Act to amend the Public Health Act 1997
[Royal Assent 19 December 2007]
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
PART 1 - Preliminary
This Act may be cited as the Public Health Amendment Act 2007 .
(1) Except as provided in this section, this Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.(2) Part 3 commences on the expiration of the 6-month period immediately following the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
PART 2 - Public Health Act 1997 Amended
The amendments effected by this Part have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Public Health Act 1997 .
