Animal Welfare Amendment Act 2008
An Act to amend the Animal Welfare Act 1993

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Animal Welfare Amendment Act 2008 .
(1) Except as provided by this section, this Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.(2) Section 23 is taken to have commenced on 27 April 2008.
In this Act, the Animal Welfare Act 1993 is referred to as the Principal Act.
