Health Professionals Registration (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2009
An Act to amend the State's health professionals registration Acts to allow for further successive terms of office and for related purposes

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Health Professionals Registration (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2009 .
This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.

This Act is repealed on the ninetieth day from the day on which it commences.
SCHEDULE 1 - Consequential AmendmentsThe amendments effected by Section 3 and this Schedule have been incorporated into authorised versions of the following Acts:
(a) Chiropractors and Osteopaths Registration Act 1997 ;(b) Dental Practitioners Registration Act 2001 ;(c) Dental Prosthetists Registration Act 1996 ;(d) Medical Practitioners Registration Act 1996 ;(e) Medical Radiation Science Professionals Registration Act 2000 ;(f) Nursing Act 1995 ;(g) Optometrists Registration Act 1994 ;(h) Pharmacists Registration Act 2001 ;(i) Physiotherapists Registration Act 1999 ;(j) Podiatrists Registration Act 1995 ;(k) Psychologists Registration Act 2000 .
