Wills Amendment (International Wills) Act 2012
An Act to amend the Wills Act 2008
[Royal Assent 13 November 2012]
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Wills Amendment (International Wills) Act 2012 .
This Act commences on a day to be proclaimed.
3. Proclamation under section 2
A proclamation cannot be made under section 2 unless the Convention providing a Uniform Law on the Form of an International Will 1973 has entered into force in Australia.
In this Act, the Wills Act 2008 is referred to as the Principal Act.
The amendment effected by this section has been incorporated into the authorised version of the Wills Act 2008 .

This Act is repealed on the ninetieth day from the day on which it commences.
