State Service Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2016

An Act to amend the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Act 1990 , the Ombudsman Act 1978 , the Personal Information Protection Act 2004 , the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2002 , the Right to Information Act 2009 , the Tasmanian Development Act 1983 and the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995

Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1.   Short title

This Act may be cited as the State Service Legislation (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2016 .

2.   Commencement

This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.

4.   Repeal of Act

This Act is repealed on the three hundred and sixty fifth day from the day on which it commences.

SCHEDULE 1 - Consequential Amendments

The amendments effected by Section 3 and this Schedule have been incorporated into authorised versions of the following Acts:

(a) Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Act 1990 ;

(b) Ombudsman Act 1978 ;

(c) Personal Information Protection Act 2004 ;

(d) Public Interest Disclosures Act 2002 ;

(e) Right to Information Act 2009 ;

(f) State Service Act 2000 ;

(g) Tasmanian Development Act 1983 ;

(h) Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 .
