EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations –(a) for the purposes of the Public Health Act 1997 , declare certain pedestrian malls and bus malls to be smoke-free; and(b) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Public Health (Smoke-free Areas) Regulations 2014 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
