Strata Titles Amendment Act 2001
An Act to amend the Strata Titles Act 1998
[Royal Assent 19 September 2001]
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Strata Titles Amendment Act 2001 .
This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
In this Act, the Strata Titles Act 1998 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Section 83 amended (Contributions)
Section 83 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection (4) the following subsection:(4A) If a contribution for which an owner or other person is liable under subsection (4) is not paid, the owner or other person is taken to have failed to comply with a requirement of this Act while the contribution remains unpaid.
