Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environment Protection Authority) (Consequential Amendments) Act 2007
An Act to consequentially amend certain Acts on the enactment of the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Amendment (Environment Protection Authority) Act 2007

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Environmental Management and Pollution Control (Environment Protection Authority) (Consequential Amendments) Act 2007 .
This Act commences on the day on which the Environmental Management and Pollution Control Amendment (Environment Protection Authority) Act 2007 commences.
The legislation specified in Schedule 1 is amended as specified in that Schedule.
SCHEDULE 1 - Consequential AmendmentsFire Service Act 1979
1. Section 52(4) is amended by omitting "Director of Environmental Management." and substituting "Director, Environment Protection Authority.".Forestry Act 1920

Section 12 is amended as follows:Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993(a) by omitting from subsection (1) "Director of Environmental Management" and substituting "Director, Environment Protection Authority";(b) by omitting from subsection (3) "Director of Environmental Management" and substituting "Director, Environment Protection Authority";(c) by omitting from subsection (4) "Director of Environmental Management" and substituting "Director, Environment Protection Authority".
1. Section 43F(7) is amended as follows:(a) by omitting "Board of Environmental Management and Pollution Control" first occurring and substituting "Board of the Environment Protection Authority";(b) by omitting from paragraph (a) "Board of Environmental Management and Pollution Control;" and substituting "Board of the Environment Protection Authority;";(c) by omitting from paragraph (b) "Board of Environmental Management and Pollution Control" and substituting "Board of the Environment Protection Authority".
2. Section 43H(2)(d) is amended by omitting "Board of Environmental Management and Pollution Control" and substituting "Board of the Environment Protection Authority".
3. Section 43K(4) is amended by omitting "Board of Environmental Management and Pollution Control" and substituting "Board of the Environment Protection Authority".
