Heavy Vehicle National Law (Tasmania) Amendment Act 2016
An Act to amend the Heavy Vehicle National Law (Tasmania) Act 2013

Be it enacted by Her Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Heavy Vehicle National Law (Tasmania) Amendment Act 2016 .
This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
In this Act, the Heavy Vehicle National Law (Tasmania) Act 2013 is referred to as the Principal Act.
4. Section 16 amended (Road manager)
Section 16 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph:(a) for a State highway or subsidiary road within the meaning of the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 , the Minister administering that Act;
5. Section 42A inserted
Before section 43 of the Principal Act , the following section is inserted in Part 5:The Minister administering the Roads and Jetties Act 1935 may delegate any of his or her functions or powers under this Act other than this power of delegation.
This Act is repealed on the three hundred and sixty fifth day from the day on which it commences.
