State Service (Agencies and Heads of Agencies) Order 2004

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 12 of the State Service Act 2000 .

1.   Short title

This order may be cited as the State Service (Agencies and Heads of Agencies) Order 2004 .

2.   Commencement

This order takes effect on 2 February 2004.

3.    State Service Act 2000 amended

Schedule 1 to the State Service Act 2000 is amended by omitting

Department of Justice and Industrial Relations

Secretary

from Division 1 of Part 1 and substituting:

Department of Justice

Secretary

Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.

This order is administered in the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order)

This order amends Schedule 1 to the State Service Act 2000 consequential on the change of name of the Department of Justice and Industrial Relations to the Department of Justice.
