Proclamation under the Valuation of Land Act 2001

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 20(9) of the Valuation of Land Act 2001  –

(a) fix 1 July 2024 as the date on and after which the fresh valuations of all lands within the valuation districts comprising the municipal areas of Derwent Valley, Dorset, Flinders, Glamorgan-Spring Bay, Glenorchy, King Island, Launceston and Waratah-Wynard come into force; and
(b) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
