I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Electoral Act 2004 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Electoral Regulations 2015 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on 16 February 2015.

3.   Interpretation

(1)  In these regulations –
Act means the Electoral Act 2004 .
(2)  In these regulations, a reference to a form, identified with a number, is a reference to the form with that number set out in Schedule 1 .

4.   Contents of writ for election

For the purposes of section 67 of the Act –
(a) a writ for the holding of an Assembly election is to be in accordance with Form 1; and
(b) a writ for the holding of a Council election is to be in accordance with Form 2.

5.   Printing order for subsequent batches of ballot papers

For the purposes of clause 4 of Schedule 3 to the Act, the printing order for subsequent batches of ballot papers is to be as specified in Schedule 2 .
