Transport Regulations 2023

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Transport Act 1981 .

1.   Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Transport Regulations 2023 .

2.   Commencement

These regulations take effect on the day on which the Taxi and Hire Vehicle Industries Regulations 2023 commence.

3.   Payments in respect of which exemptions or rebates may be granted

For the purposes of section 5(1)(d) of the Act, the fees specified in Schedule 3 to the Taxi and Hire Vehicle Industries Regulations 2023 are prescribed as payments relating to transport for which full or partial exemptions or rebates may be granted by the Commission.
