Proclamation under the Electoral Matters (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2023

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, by this my proclamation made under section 2 of the Electoral Matters (Miscellaneous Amendments) Act 2023  –

(a) fix 1 July 2024 as the day on which the provisions of that Act, other than section 28, commence; and

(b) fix 1 July 2025 as the day on which section 28 of that Act commences.
