Administrative Arrangements Order (No. 2) 2024
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 .

This order may be cited as the Administrative Arrangements Order (No. 2) 2024 .
This order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.
The Acts Interpretation Act 1931 applies to the interpretation of this order as if this order were by-laws.
4. Assignment of enactments, administration and responsibilities
(1) The administration of each enactment, part of an enactment, or subject matter of an enactment, which enactment, part or subject matter is specified under the title of a Minister in Schedule 1 , is assigned to that Minister.(2) Each department, or part of a department, that is specified under the title of a Minister in Schedule 1 is responsible to that Minister in relation to the administration by that Minister of the enactments, the parts of the enactments, or the subject matter of the enactments, that (a) are specified under the title of that department or part of a department; and(b) are specified under the title of that Minister.(3) The administration of each department, or part of a department, that is responsible, to a Minister whose title is specified in Schedule 1 , in relation to the administration by that Minister of an enactment, part of an enactment, or subject matter of an enactment, is, in relation to that enactment, part or subject matter, assigned to that Minister.
The legislation specified in Schedule 2 is revoked.
